Privacy

Noor Islam works without an account, and your personal data stays on your device.

On your device only

  • Your location is used only to calculate prayer times and the Qibla direction. It is never sent to our servers.
  • Bookmarks, reading progress, your tracker, Hifz progress, Zakat figures and settings are stored in your browser or the app on your phone.
  • You can erase all of it at any time in Settings › Delete my data.

What reaches our servers

  • Requests for Quran text and audio (which surah you open), like any website request. We don’t link these to you.
  • Questions you send to Ask Noor Islam, to generate an answer. Conversations are not stored by default.

Ads

Personalised ads are off unless you turn them on in Settings. We never sell your data, and ads are never shown on worship screens or children’s content.
