مَّاmā(Do) not
يَوَدُّyawaddulike
ٱلَّذِينَalladhīnathose who
كَفَرُوا۟kafarūdisbelieve
مِنْminfrom
أَهْلِahli(the) People
ٱلْكِتَـٰبِl-kitābi(of) the Book
وَلَاwalāand not
ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَl-mush'rikīnathose who associate partners (with Allah)
أَنanthat
يُنَزَّلَyunazzala(there should) be sent down
عَلَيْكُمʿalaykumto you
مِّنْminany
خَيْرٍۢkhayringood
مِّنminfrom
رَّبِّكُمْ ۗrabbikumyour Lord
وَٱللَّهُwal-lahuAnd Allah
يَخْتَصُّyakhtaṣṣuchooses
بِرَحْمَتِهِۦbiraḥmatihifor His Mercy
مَنmanwhom
يَشَآءُ ۚyashāuHe wills
وَٱللَّهُwal-lahuAnd Allah
ذُوdhū(is the) Possessor
ٱلْفَضْلِl-faḍli(of) [the] Bounty
ٱلْعَظِيمِl-ʿaẓīmi[the] Great
Neither those who disbelieve from the People of the Scripture nor the polytheists wish that any good should be sent down to you from your Lord. But Allah selects for His mercy whom He wills, and Allah is the possessor of great bounty.
جو لوگ کافر ہیں، اہل کتاب یا مشرک وہ اس بات کو پسند نہیں کرتے کہ تم پر تمہارے پروردگار کی طرف سے خیر (وبرکت) نازل ہو۔ اور خدا تو جس کو چاہتا ہے، اپنی رحمت کے ساتھ خاص کر لیتا ہے اور خدا بڑے فضل کا مالک ہے
