A mosque at al-Tanʿim, the closest point outside the sacred boundary of Makkah, used by residents to enter ihram for Umrah.

Significance

During the Farewell Hajj the Prophet ﷺ sent ʿAʾishah with her brother ʿAbd al-Rahman to al-Tanʿim to begin her Umrah.
