Mount Uhud and the martyrs

The mountain north of Madinah where the Battle of Uhud took place in 3 AH. The martyrs of Uhud are buried at its foot.

Significance

Hamzah, the uncle of the Prophet ﷺ, is among the martyrs. The Prophet ﷺ said of Uhud: "This is a mountain that loves us and is loved by us."
