Biography
When the Prophet ﷺ arrived in Madinah his camel knelt near the house of Abu Ayyub, and he hosted the Prophet ﷺ until his own rooms by the mosque were built.
He fought in all the battles and, in old age, joined the expedition to Constantinople, where he died around 52 AH and was buried by its walls.
Virtues
The Prophet ﷺ stayed at his house on arriving in Madinah.
