Biography
Al-Husayn, the younger son of ʿAli and Fatimah, was loved by the Prophet ﷺ like his brother. He was known for worship and courage.
He was martyred with members of his family at Karbalaʾ on the 10th of Muharram, 61 AH — a tragedy grieved by Muslims ever since.
