Biography
Maymunah was the aunt of ʿAbdullah ibn ʿAbbas and of Khalid ibn al-Walid. The Prophet ﷺ married her in 7 AH around the ʿUmrah of fulfilment.
She was known for keeping family ties and for her piety, and narrated hadith about the Prophet’s ﷺ worship at home. She was the last wife he married, and died around 51 AH at Sarif, near Makkah.
