Biography
Zaynab was known even before Islam as “mother of the poor” for her care for the needy. She was widowed when her husband was martyred, and the Prophet ﷺ married her in Madinah.
She lived only a few months after the marriage and died around 4 AH; she is buried in al-Baqiʿ.
