Biography
Abu Hurayrah came to Madinah in 7 AH and stayed close to the Prophet ﷺ, living among the people of al-Suffah and devoting himself to learning.
In about four years he memorised more hadith than any other Companion, and narrated thousands. He died in Madinah around 57–59 AH.
Virtues
He complained of forgetting; the Prophet ﷺ told him to spread his cloak, and after that he never forgot what he heard.
