Biography
Anas was brought by his mother Umm Sulaym to serve the Prophet ﷺ at about ten years old, and served him for ten years. He said the Prophet ﷺ never once said “uff” to him.
He narrated many hadith and lived a long life in Basrah, among the last Companions to die, around 93 AH.
Virtues
The Prophet ﷺ prayed for him: “O Allah, increase his wealth and children and bless him in what You give him.”
